New dietitian at our practice: welcome Fit For Foodies

Since 1 July 2026, Wendy Schreuder's dietitian practice has been taken over by Fit For Foodies. For our patients, very little will change. You can still see a dietitian at our Rembrandtsingel location one day a week. The familiar locations at Spoorlaan and Filosofentuin will also remain open. And you can continue to receive professional, personal nutrition advice — without needing a referral from your GP.

“We understand that a change like this can feel a little uncertain, especially if you have been seeing the same dietitian for years. That’s why we have chosen to stay at the same locations and continue providing the same personal care and attention. Whether you are already a client or visiting us for the first time, we take the time to listen to your story so that our advice truly suits you.” — Femke van Liere, owner of Fit For Foodies

What stays the same?

  • You can see your dietitian at the same location(s) as before
  • Personal attention and nutrition advice tailored to you — no standard diets
  • Dietitian care is covered for 3 hours under the basic Dutch health insurance package (approximately 4–6 consultations). If you have additional health insurance, you may be entitled to further reimbursement.

What is new?

Fit For Foodies is a dietitian practice with more than 20 years of experience and a team of dietitians working at several locations, including Rotterdam, Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel and Capelle aan den IJssel. This means they can offer an even wider range of support, from sports nutrition to lifestyle guidance. Their approach remains personal: your dietitian looks not only at what you eat, but also at what is realistic and sustainable in your daily life.

How can a dietitian help you?

Many people think you only need to see a dietitian if you are overweight or have diabetes. But a dietitian can help with many different health and nutrition-related concerns, including:

  • Being overweight, underweight or experiencing weight loss
  • Diabetes, cardiovascular disease and high blood pressure
  • Digestive problems, IBS, food allergies and intolerances
  • Sports nutrition and maintaining your energy throughout the day
  • Gradually building a healthier and more positive relationship with food

Would you like to make an appointment?

Are you a patient at our GP practice and would you like advice about nutrition, weight or lifestyle? You can make an appointment directly with Fit For Foodies. You do not need a referral from your GP. Have you already received a referral? You are of course very welcome too.
